AbleLight Village presents an opportunity for local congregations to connect with people of all abilities to share the good news of Jesus Christ through service projects, Bible studies and prayer.
Through these inclusive housing communities, AbleLight is continuing its century-long ministry to better serve people with disabilities. AbleLight strongly believes people with disabilities deserve quality housing they can afford, especially in a Christian environment of love and respect.
At its core, AbleLight Village is a Christian organization providing quality housing to people with and without disabilities of all faiths or no faith at all. We believe that a strong connection to faith makes living at AbleLight Village unique and fulfilling, and it is something residents who choose us ask for.
We view our voluntary faith-based programs as a way to connect our residents to the broader community. Our facilities often include opportunities for community members to join our residents for Bible studies and similar activities.
We have ongoing conversations with congregations across the country, and their involvement will be an important factor in where future AbleLight Village developments are located.
